Most private insurances, including Medicaid will cover the cost of hearing aids (in part or in full). The first step is to consult with your health insurance carrier to check if there is hearing aid coverage. If you do not have insurance coverage and need assistance paying for hearing aids, then we suggest you contact the following:

Wisconsin Infant & Children’s Statewide Hearing Aid Exchange Service
This program provides hearing instruments for a 6 month loan period to newly identified children who are deaf and/or hard of hearing children (up to 18 years) who are not Medicaid eligible or do not have other hearing aid insurance coverage.
