Occupational therapy helps people who are having trouble with everyday functional activities regain as much independence as possible in all areas of their lives. Occupational therapy requires an order from your doctor, chiropractor or psychologist.  Call to schedule an appointment at any of Sauk Prairie Healthcare's locations. 

Our state-licensed occupational therapists can treat the following diagnoses:   

  • Shoulder pain, injuries or surgeries
  • Repetitive motion injuries from work or sports
  • Tennis elbow, golfer's elbow
  • Wrist, thumb and finger conditions
  • Carpal tunnel disorder
  • Arthritis
  • Incontinence
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Strokes and heart attacks

  • Range of motion and strengthening
  • Pain management
  • Ergonomics for office workers and for industrial workers
  • Relaxation training for headaches and stress management
  • Activities of daily living (normal, everyday activities) and special equipment to make things easier to do
