About This Event
Wisconsin farmers are nearly four times more likely to die by suicide. But farmer suicide is preventable.
The Mental Health First Aid Training teaches you to recognize warning signs of farmer suicide to keep them safe. You will learn to notice changes in a farmer’s appearance, behavior, thoughts, and feelings that can signal a change in a farmer’s mental health. You will also learn strategies to successfully intervene and assist farmers to recovery.
