About This Event
June 3, 2023
Ride starts at 8:00 AM
(Bike and finish at your own pace)
Bike with us on the Great Sauk State Trail on Saturday, June 3 to honor the legacy of Dr. Haakon Carlson, a Prairie Clinic physician and founder of the Good Neighbor Clinic, a free community clinic whose mission is to improve the health and lives of people who face financial, cultural or language barriers that keep them from accessing quality healthcare.
The Good Neighbor Ride will begin in the Good Neighbor Clinic parking lot at 8:00 am with brief opening remarks; the ride will begin shortly after. You can choose to bike either a long or short route, depending on your comfort level.
This ride also takes place on World Bike Day, which draws attention to bicycles as affordable and environmentally friendly means of transportation, as well as a fun way to stay physically active. Learn more about other World Bike Day events happening in Sauk Prairie.
The Good Neighbor Ride is sponsored by the Sauk Prairie Healthcare Foundation and donations raised will benefit the Good Neighbor Clinic. While we do not require a registration fee, a $25 suggested donation is appreciated. Those who donate $100 or more will receive a Sauk Prairie Healthcare bike jersey while supplies last.
- Price: $25 suggested donation; Donations of $100+ will receive an SPH bike jersey (while supplies last)
