About This Event
With the knowledge and skills you learn in this course, you can save a life. You will learn the skills of CPR for victims of all ages at a healthcare worker level and will practice CPR in a team setting. You will learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and how to relive choking (foreign-body airway obstruction). The skills you learn in this course will enable you to recognize emergencies — such as sudden cardiac arrest — and know how to respond to them.
Books are necessary for the class and will be available as part of the class fee. If you prefer to pick up your book prior to the class start date, please call 608-643-7291 to make arrangements for getting the book early.
