Troy Farrell, MD to Join Prairie Clinic

Sauk Prairie Healthcare is pleased to welcome Troy Farrell, MD, to the Prairie Clinic team of providers. Dr. Farrell is a primary care physician who provides a broad range of healthcare services.

“I’m excited to join Sauk Prairie Healthcare and become part of their mission ensuring patients receive high quality care,” said Dr. Farrell. “The best medicine is prevention, and part of my role as a primary care physician is not just to make patients better in the moment, but to prevent them from experiencing health decline in the future.”

Monica Pilon, Director of Primary Care/Care Management at Sauk Prairie Healthcare added, “We’re thrilled to have Dr. Farrell join us. He is a great option for patients wanting to establish care with a primary care doctor at Prairie Clinic.”

As a primary care physician, Dr. Farrell cares for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adolescent medicine, adults and geriatrics. He also has a special interest in helping patients manage their chronic illnesses. Dr. Farrell is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine and the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians.

“I want to know patients on a personal level, coordinate their care, and be alongside them for every phase of their healthcare journey,” said Dr. Farrell. “I enjoy teaching and strive to inform patients on their conditions as well as how they can achieve the highest level of well-being and quality of life.”

On a personal level, Dr. Farrell also shared a bit about his background and hobbies, saying, “I am a native of Blanchardville, WI and I’m excited to become a part of the Sauk Prairie community beyond the clinic walls as well, be it cycling, pickle ball (I trained in Kansas where it is a serious sport), canoeing, and many more experiences I cannot wait to discover.”

Dr. Farrell will begin seeing patients at Prairie Clinic in February 2026. To make an appointment with him, call 608-643-3351.
