Forbes Top Hospitals 2026 Honors Sauk Prairie Healthcare
Sauk Prairie Healthcare has been named to the list of Forbes Top Hospitals for 2026. This is the first time Forbes has published such a list.
Sauk Prairie Healthcare achieved an overall rating of 5 stars. Only 18 hospitals in Wisconsin, and 75 small hospitals nationwide, received the 5 star rating.

Forbes’ rating system evaluates hospitals across the country so medical consumers can use the list to find quality care near them, as well as compare hospitals. The rating system was created by a team of healthcare experts, as well as through a partnership with the healthcare data and analytics firm Inovalon. The data was collected from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Provider Data Catalog (PDC).
Forbes reports, “From this dataset, we identified healthcare quality measures that assess patient outcomes, hospital best practices, value, and patient experience. These measures were chosen specifically because they have been developed and regularly tested by leaders in the healthcare community to meet rigorous national standards.”
