The funds were used to purchase modular, adjustable children's furniture that will serve as a base for a new Dramatic Play Center. This will support play-based literacy, which helps children develop language and numeracy skills, motivation to learn, and social skills through play.

Sauk City Volunteer Fire Department

The grant purchased a bullet-resistant vest to protect volunteers while aiding community members during violent situations.

Sauk Prairie Area Food Pantry

The funds were used to purchase a small cargo van to deliver fresh fruit to thee schools in the district and deliver food to the organization's most vulnerable neighbors who are unable to visit the pantry.
